If you wish to attend the keynote speaker session or author session in person, please RSVP by reserving a ticket on this site. All sessions, including the keynote speaker, will be hybrid. The Colloquy of Regensburg, historically called the Colloquy of Ratisbon, was a conference held at Regensburg (Ratisbon) in Bavaria in 1541, during the Protestant Reformation, which marks the culmination of attempts to restore religious unity in the Holy Roman Empire by means of theological debate between the Protestants and the Catholics. The keynote speaker session and all other sessions are available to anyone who wishes to attend at no cost. This colloquy is timely as it comes at a point in American history when education is under attack and public opinion calls for reform. There will also be individual sessions presented by both faculty and graduate students on March 18th. We are also excited to have nationally known children's book author David Bowles join us and discuss his recent work. Jeff Duncan-Andrade comes to us from San Francisco State University and brings a wealth of knowledge around working with traditionally underrepresented communities. The keynote speaker for this year's colloquy is a nationally known speaker and scholar in his field. This year's theme is focused on navigating the borderlands and provides discussion around topics such as cultivating hope, critical pedagogies and public policy.
